I am so happy to have found Hubpages. I love to write.  I mostly write from my experiences.  My priority in life is first and foremost my faith in God and my beautiful family.  My day job is working with at-risk families with a focus on children ages prenatal to three.  I work closely with teen parents as well.  I have a lot of experience and knowledge that I want to get out there to educate and empower people to reach out to our at-risk families, teen moms and teen dads.  I can now add Entrepreneur to my status as I have just become a Mary Kay consultant.  You can visit/order on my website at http://www.marykay.com/slaffery.

My profile says that i have been a member for 12 months but I just started writing for hubpages since July 2011.  I signed up but don't remember how I heard about hub pages.  I love this site and am enjoying writing articles and having conversations with people about various topics.
